Allegra Alessandri, Ed. D.
Dr. Alessandri has spent her entire career as an educator, from Washington D.C. to Caracas, Venezuela; from San Francisco to her hometown of Sacramento. After graduating high school from Sacramento Waldorf school, she attended Pomona College in Claremont, CA. She earned a Master’s degree from Georgetown University and a doctorate from UC Davis. Throughout her career she has been a high school English and Humanities teacher. She helped open three Waldorf high schools including George Washington Carver, the very first public Waldorf high school in the USA. Dr. Alessandri loves swimming, knitting, reading, encaustic painting, gardening, hiking and travel.
