Student Government

The Student Government at George Washington Carver School of Arts & Sciences is an organization that focuses on creating a positive school environment where leadership, service, and spirit are essential.

Our first goal is to help students develop leadership skills. Through direct participation in student campus decisions our members learn valuable lessons in leadership.

Our second major goal is to function as a service organization to the student body and community. To do this, we organize blood drives, canned food drives, and teacher luncheons. The Student Government also serves as an umbrella clubs, and other campus groups. We function in providing support and resources to these organizations, clubs, and teams.

Our final goal centers around creating a community atmosphere at George Washington Carver School of Arts & Sciences through promoting school spirit and student involvement. Many initiatives are taken to increase school spirit and student involvement such as holding pep rallies, dances, and many other activities.

These three goals provide a solid foundation for the Student GovernmentÕs role in promoting leadership, service, and spirit extending from our school, out into our community.
