Welcome to the GWC School of Arts and Science website! Thank you for taking an interest in our school

Carver School of Arts and Science is a Waldorf methods high school. We are located on the boarder of Sacramento City Unified School District and Ranch Cordova, near Mather Air Force Base.   Our campus is located on 13.5 acres campus in which we are developing spaces for thinking, creating, and healthy activity.

Respect for the individuality of each student is fostered throughout the school. Our college preparatory curriculum is integrated with the arts.  Here you will find a place for students to explore and experiment.  Every classroom is like a laboratory or art studio where students and teachers engage in academic inquiry, testing their ideas.

At GWC, Nature is our textbook.  We are building the Sam Mazza Garden which will serve as our door classroom and textbook.  The garden is a place for our community to seek nourishment and inspiration.
